Malta · Team experience

Cooperation is the condition of progression.

MANARA is a facilitated, location-based team experience that turns a city into a sequence of challenges no single person can solve alone.

What MANARA is

City discovery, built as a team challenge.

A MANARA session moves a team through a real place and a sequence of standardised challenges that require genuine cooperation — exchanging information, taking roles, deciding together and moving as one group.

It works as a development experience, as an onboarding and integration format for newcomers and relocated employees, and as a shared moment a team actually remembers.

How a session works

Four moments, one continuous experience.

01

Briefing

The team meets the facilitator, hears the rules and the developmental purpose, and gives informed consent before anything starts.

02

Route

Teams, language and route variant are configured for the group, then the city becomes the board the session is played on.

03

Challenges

A sequence of standardised challenges unfolds across waypoints, each one designed so progression depends on the whole team.

04

Debrief

The experience closes with a shared review, facilitated so the team can talk about how it actually worked together.

Enforced interdependence

No one can finish it on their own.

  • Information and resources are split between participants from the start.
  • Exchange and coordination are a condition of moving forward.
  • Challenges are designed so they cannot be completed by one person working fast.
  • What emerges is a real pattern of communication and roles, not parallel solo work.

Who it's for

Built around the people in the room.

Teams and employees

Groups that want a shared experience with something to talk about afterwards.

Newcomers and relocated staff

People finding their place in a team and a country at the same time.

Team leaders and HR sponsors

Owners of integration, development and onboarding who need a format that works.

Facilitators

Consultants delivering the session and leading the review that closes it.

Why it's different

Based on how people cooperate in action — not on how they describe themselves in a questionnaire.

A team reveals more in twenty minutes of a shared problem than in a page of self-assessment. MANARA creates safe, engaging conditions where that behaviour can actually happen, and a facilitated review that turns it into a conversation worth having.

Malta first

Malta as the first playable country.

Malta is our first launch market and our implementation environment: a compact, walkable, layered place where a route can carry a whole session. Other cities follow once the format is proven here.

Formats

Start with one team, or build it into the year.

Entry workshop

A first session for a single team — the fastest way to see how the experience lands in your organisation.

Developmental pilot

A broader engagement across more teams, with a fuller review of what the format gives you.

Ongoing programme

Recurring sessions built into how you develop teams and integrate new people through the year.

Scope, duration and group size are agreed per organisation.
